What If you could double traffic to your website?
What if you could triple it?
Excited? You should be.
Is there a digital marketer out there who does not wants traffic to his/her website?
Show me one.
There are some indispensable methods that we focus on to attract visitors to our website. Most of them revolve around ranking on search engines.
Yeah, I know what you are thinking (black hat). Here in this article, however, I want to focus on only one thing.
“Blogging”
How many of you know about blogging?
Don’t judge me for asking. For the uninitiated, however, it is good to provide some basic knowledge at the very outset.
Blogging is one of the best ways to boost the visitors to your website.
Blogs are the digital equivalent of what you think as a person.
Blogs let you share your in-depth knowledge related to your product, service etc. It helps you drive a significant number of new visitors to your company website.
To earn new visitors, all you need is a blog with insightful content. You drive the traffic to your website without advertising. It drives down your cost per lead.
And it is also essential to an efficient Inbound Marketing Strategy.
The Past
In the initial days at Znbound (HubSpot Partner), it was only Rajagopalan who was blogging due to the constraints of a small team.
The Traffic was not at all impressive.
How did Znbound Increase Traffic by 246.13%?
There are three different sources that corroborate a 200 to 300% increase in website traffic which is solely due to blogging.
Let’s look at the evidence.
The screenshot below clearly shows that from the moment we start blogging regularly, traffic increased exponentially.
This is the power of Blogging.
1. Regular Blogging
As I have already told you Blogging is one of the key sources to drive traffic. As Znbound is growing, every team member writes a good blog once in a month. Znbound is now publishing two Blog posts in a week.
A positive result is a steady traffic that comes from long-tail keyword searches.
Long-tail keywords are often the highest-converting keywords.
It is okay to publish once a week. It should, however, be regular. Regular Blog Publishing helps you boost your traffic.
Remember.
Traffic is lost when Blogging Stops.
A business blog is a part of content marketing. The idea is pretty simple. You identify the questions your target audience is wondering about or asking. You suggest insightful solutions which form your content.
Your buyers find these blogs when they are searching for the answers to their questions. This is how you pursue qualified leads.
2. New Page Addition Strategy
You probably know that creating more web pages is one way to increase your search engine positioning. More pages on your website, higher your Search Engine Rank.
Not to mention, more traffic.
Remember to do a proper keyword research and utilize long-tail keywords with low difficulties and higher searches.
Another important piece of advice is to write for your buyers. If your buyers like your content, Search engines will automatically like it.
3. Content Marketing
If you are not doing it, you are wasting your time creating a blog.
Content marketing is a great way to engage with customers and to provide them with expert knowledge to assist them with the buying process of any product or service
I wrote an article on Long Tail Pro and on how to do smart content marketing. Have a look at the social engagement down below. (Screenshot below)
Final Words
My final word is that consistency is the key here. All the above-mentioned methods are proven but you have to stick to them and eventually you will get visitors to your blog.
